AMAZON REVIEW: WHAT A SURPRISE !***** (5 stars)
I am already in my second reading of this gem. The human and universal experience that Ernest share so skillfully during the first 80 pages stopped me, many times, just to feel, just to connect with my own experience of what he brought to our attention. Although it feels ultimately easy and comfortable to read, Ernest must have taken quite some time to assemble a step-by-step guide that is so clear and so complete. Practicing The work of Byron Katie since 2008, I was able to rediscover all the simplicity and precision of this approach, with a guidance approach so supporting and complete that it felt like the first time that I was end to end guided in the meditation inquiry. I will recommend this book to all my friends asking me to explain The Work, and also to those looking for answers on "how we do it to screw up our own life, so systematically," and the way out of it. This book is a precise step-by-step guide for The Work, and reading for the second time the first chapter (and the following pages), I’m once again supported by a clarity that I can’t explain, otherwise than recognizing Ernest’s talent to share the universal experience of being human. |
