Improvisation and the Joy of Change

Life is change. Everything changes, all the time. Instead of fighting the inevitable, the key is to learn how to enjoy change, making our ability to improvise with what actually happens (rather than what could, should or would have happened if everything had gone according to plan) a powerful asset in our lives.

Change always offers new possibilities – if we are ready to notice them.

Benefits

Learning how to master the fundamentals of improvisation enables us to seize opportunities in the moment, turning them to our advantage rather than seeing them as problems or threats.

As the Danish philosopher Søren Kierkegaard wrote in 1846, "The task is not to find the lovable object, but the task is to find the once given or chosen object – lovable!"

This is the art of improvisation.

Formats

I work in a dynamic, engaged and humorous way involving participants through exercises, demonstrations and dialogue.

Below, I have categorized my work into the three formats I most commonly use. I am completely flexible, however, and I can easily adapt to situations that require different solutions.
