Turning Uncomfortable Emotions Into Peace

Five days of inquiry in the beautiful mountains of Portugal

In a cozy, renovated farmhouse in the quietude of the Portuguese countryside we will dive into our inner worlds to meet our emotions with kindness and clarity.

The retreat has 2 facilitators and a maximum of 11 participants. It is intended for both beginners and those who are experienced with The Work.

  • Understand what it means to do The Work as a meditation
  • Learn how to truly sit with uncomfortable emotions
  • Discover why your emotions are your greatest resource
  • Experience the power of immersing yourself fully in The Work

Your Emotions are a Resource - Use Them
As human beings we tend to turn away from emotions which we perceive as uncomfortable. Consequently, we don’t deal with the underlying causes of our problems thus making them reappear again and again. In reality this discomfort is our most potent fuel when we need to take action and find peace and clarity. By learning to embrace our discomfort we empower ourselves to meet change, adversity and conflicts with peace, strength and integrity.
