Recorded Facilitation Sessions

Volunteering for a real session — and supporting the learning of others

From time to time, I invite people to volunteer for a recorded facilitation session with me.

These are real, live sessions using self-inquiry based on The Work of Byron Katie. The recording is used as teaching material in my Professional Facilitator of Self-Inquiry (PFSI) program and, in some cases, as public educational material.

This page is simply here to help you decide whether this feels right for you.

What This Is
  • A genuine facilitation session, held with presence, care, and respect — the same way I work with my regular clients
  • A space for honest inner work — exactly as it would be without a recording
  • A contribution to the learning of others who are training as facilitators and want to understand self-inquiry

Practical Details
A typical session lasts 60–90 minutes.

Sessions take place online via Zoom. To participate, you’ll need:
  • a stable internet connection
  • a working camera and microphone
  • the ability to use Zoom comfortably

Nothing fancy is required — just a setup that allows us to meet without technical distractions.

About the Recording
The session will be recorded. If you are selected, you agree that the recording:
  • may be used inside the PFSI program as teaching material
  • may also be used publicly for educational purposes

You can read the full Volunteer Release & Consent Agreement here.

Who This Is For
This may be a good fit if you:
  • are curious about or familiar with The Work
  • are comfortable being seen and heard on video
  • are willing to meet yourself honestly in a live session

This is not the right place if you:
  • are in acute crisis or need therapeutic support
  • feel uneasy about being recorded
  • are looking for advice, fixing, or guidance

A Note on Selection
Not everyone who applies will be selected. I choose volunteers based on timing, learning relevance, and overall fit. If this isn’t a match right now, you’re welcome to stay on the list for future sessions.

Next Step
If this feels aligned, you can apply by filling out a short form with some background information. There is no obligation — this is simply an expression of interest.
